The most valuable attribute that I attained from CHIS was definitely my mindset towards new things and challenges. At CHIS I was encouraged to try everything out and received no judgement for if things didn’t work out in a particular area. Not only the staff, but also the students around me were all so accepting and kind that I was able to build up a lot of confidence and learn to approach every new endeavour with a positive attitude and resilience.
